Executive Administrative Assistant

Marit Heidbreder serves as the Executive Administrative Assistant at NDFA, managing all administrative support for the organization. Prior to joining NDFA, she worked in various roles which have given her a rich background in administrative leadership. She was honored to serve four terms as an elected Township Clerk in MN, which included a role as head election judge. Upon her move to ND in 2013, she became involved with Classical Conversations; a classical, Christian, homeschooling community. She worked as a director at their Minot, ND campus for several years before transitioning to Administrative Assistant at Goldade Financial in Rugby, ND. She brings a passion for organization, attention to detail, and serving others to NDFA.

Marit resides in beautiful Garrison, ND with her husband Darren, a native North Dakotan and Park Ranger, and their two adventurous sons, Dane and Jed, who are both lifeguards and students. Marit is thrilled to call North Dakota home and deeply values and wants to protect the freedoms and Christian values present in our great state.
